I have very vivid childhood memories, and like most Mexican-American girls who grew up in the 90s in South Texas, many of those memories involved Selena Quintanilla. Selena was the soundtrack to my childhood, and was ever-present.
I am a big fan of podcasts and was thrilled when my son started to sit down and enjoy podcasts at around three years old.
For me, restorative schooling happened most often through counternarrative, and women were the storytellers, stars, and villains.
